The liver he mentions is the liver cooking in his microwave. The first refers to a subpar drawing Hartman's nephew gave him. There's "This doesn't look good at all," or "That liver's going to have to come out," and even "You'll be dead within a week." But all of these ominous declarations have perfectly benign explanations. He constantly pelts his patients with random comments that could easily be construed as signs of medical danger. Hartman's shtick is just that – his shtick. The two characters have even acknowledged the similarity.ĭr. This can get a little tricky when Hartman sees patients like Carter Pewterschmidt, who shares an almost identical voice. Just about everyone goes through his office at one point or another. Hartman is apparently the only doctor in the bustling city of Quahog. Whether you're talking Simpsons or Family Guy, it seems like the doctors in animated sitcoms are some of the strangest types ever to hold a medical license. But Bozon, er, "Defendant" as we must legally call him now, ran off into the forest, shouting, "You're never gonna catch me! You're wasting your time! Forget about it! Go do something else! See you next year!" in a high pitched voice… Deaf Guy is kept primarily to the periphery, careful not to suck all the air out of what is essentially a one-joke routine.īecause of him, our company picnic tried - tried - to get a game centered around the chasing and capture of similarly greased-up person. Obscure character to be sure, GUDG is one of those types of funny that gets funnier every single time you see or think about it, which is something the show does best in small doses. Upside down face or not, this little brat is always good for a laugh. Somehow we doubt that's the end of Jake's troubles, however. When last we saw Jake in the show's standard but admittedly questionable continuity, toxic waste in Lake Quahog mutated Jake's body and caused his face to flip over. Luckily, better things appear to be on the horizon. Luckily, Brian turned the tables by planting a bag of marijuana in Jake's locker. He even incriminated former classmate Chris Griffin for possession of alcohol. He's something of a bully at Buddy Cianci Junior High. Jake deals with life's hardships by acting out. In a town full of sexual deviants, evil monkeys, and giant, fighting chickens, Jake is still the odd boy out. His father tries to put a happy face on this upside down face, but it rarely helps. He can't even wipe himself after going to the bathroom because, naturally, he has no bottom. Jake is a cranky and disagreeable boy, which should come as no surprise given his freakish condition. We don't know how it happened, but it usually makes for comedy gold. This son of esteemed news anchor Tom Tucker was born with a strange birth defect – his face is upside down. Jake Tucker is one of the most visually distinctive characters you'll ever see. Fouad is the Pawtucket Brewery's most underrated employee. But at least he's consistent: Laughing out loud at the drop of any sarcastic statement, and then explaining why the joke is a joke at all with his patent-pending "Ohohoho! Is funny because.". He wants to understand our sarcastic ways, so much so that it usually ends with him unintentionally poking fun at himself for trying to get what we're making fun of. Since his first appearance in " Chick Cancer," Fouad has consistently showcased his sincere attempts to master the Anglo-Saxon language…much to our cruel enjoyment. "Ohohohoh! Is funny because," well, again, because this character is a product of Family Guy's constant attempt to push the envelope on stereotypes.
